A brand that fosters collaboration between designers and traditional textile weavers

Our self-founded platform connects textile weavers from Peru and Indonesia with designers and experts.

The pilot project aimed to develop a design methodology that allows participants to use the precious textiles in modern context respecting and promoting the cultural heritage of the creative artisans.

This collaboration lead to a unisex apparel collection that features silhouettes typical in the regions of the weavers. The garments not only use the precious textiles in a culturally appropriate way, but they are sustainable and created with minimal waste.

Our goal is to expand the pool of communities as well as designers who are willing to exchange knowledge and open intercultural conversations in the textile industry.
